Who can be a member of SCVO?

Organisations who are eligible for membership based on our eligibility statement and guidance. SCVO members play an active role in shaping our work. If you are accepted as a member, you can influence policy, nominate to the Board and have voting rights.

Who can be a supporter?

Anyone who is not eligible to be a member of SCVO, can join us a supporter. While supporters do not have a role in decision-making or informing our work, this new category will include the public and private sectors, and both organisational and individual supporters.

How do I get in touch about any membership or supporter queries?

If you have any questions, please contact the Membership Team. We would be delighted to hear from you! You can contact us on 0131 378 0077 or at membership@scvo.scot.

I received a password reset link from you but it’s not working, can you send a new one?

Password reset links are only viable for 24 hours so you may need to select ‘reset my password’ from the log-in page.

I’ve linked my account to my organisation but it’s saying that we are not a member/supporter?

If your organisation isn’t displaying the correct membership status please contact membership@scvo.scot and we will look into it.

I’m trying to link my account to my organisation but can’t get it to work can you help?

First you must sign in and then select ‘My organisation’ from the drop down list. You should enter your organisation name (be mindful of using ‘&’ or ‘and’) or your charity number to find your organisation in the drop down list. Click on your organisation name to link. There will be a member badge/tick next to your organisation’s name if you are a member/supporter.

If your organisation isn’t displaying the correct membership status please contact: membership@scvo.scot and we will look into it. 

I’ve forgotten my password and have asked to reset this but haven’t received anything through, can you help?

You should check your junk / spam folder first. If you still haven’t received it please email membership@scvo.scot

I’m trying to create a user account, and have been told that I will receive a verification email but nothing has arrived and I’ve checked my spam folder what do I need to do?

If you don’t receive your verification email you can opt to resend. If you’re still having problems please email membership@scvo.scot
