Once again it's been another brilliant Trustees Week. There's been loads going on all across the UK in recognition of the amazing work done by trustees to support their charities and voluntary organisations. Head over to Twitter and have a look at the [#trusteesweek](https://twitter.com/hashtag/trusteesweek?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Ehashtag) tag for a flavour of what's been happening. Also check out the [Trustees Week website](http://trusteesweek.org/) for some great resources and information. One of the stats that really caught my attention is that there are around 1 million trustees in the UK, with some 180,000 of them in Scotland. Here at SCVO we've had blogs on a range of topics, from [being a trustee in the digital world](http://www.scvo.scot/blog/being-a-trustee-in-the-digital-age/) to the importance of [learning as a board](http://www.scvo.scot/blog/learning-at-the-heart-of-the-board/). We also joined [OSCR](http://www.oscr.org.uk/) in a takeover of the [Trustees Week twitter feed](https://twitter.com/TrusteesWeek). Today we're rounding it all off with a video, featuring five trustees sharing their top tips. They attended our recent Building Better Governance training programme in Edinburgh, [another series of which has just been announced for March 2017](http://www.scvo.scot/events/building-better-governance-scotland-programme-2/). If you'd like to take part then make sure to get your booking in early, as it's going to be very popular. If you're a trustee, then make sure to let us know what your top tips are! See you again next year for Trustees Week 2017.
