Course overview

Communicating is part of our daily routine so it is now moreimportant than ever to master the art of online communication. Thisexclusive online course isdesigned to develop engaging and confident online communication skills for use in one-to-one meetings, small group meetings and discussions, and large audiences.

Overall course aim

The aim of this online course withMairi Damerfrom WORD Up Communicationsis to provide you with top tips and tricks for communicating more effectively online. It is designed for a small group to work together using a variety of communication tools and practical exercises.

Course objectives

This interactive online course is packed full of content that will have you ready to participate in all manner of Zoom meetings and webinars in no time at all. Blending theory with practical exercises, participant contributionsand group discussions you will look at:

  • Proper prep - getting ready to communicate
  • Performing on screen - personal poise and presence
  • The ironing board - handy tools
  • Screensharing and PowerPoint
  • What can possibly go wrong? Getting over glitches
  • Facilitating online meetings
