Description

This workshop, with Forth Valley Sensory Centre, will discuss the difficulties people with disabilities might experience when accessing information about Climate Change and Energy Saving. This has become even more relevant with the current cost of living crisis and the energy cap price rises which will be felt by all families.

We work with people who are deaf, blind, partially sighted and hard of hearing. This workshop will not only help you learn more about your own carbon footprint but potentially inspire your own energy saving initiatives or projects.

It will also provide an insight into making sure your communications are accessible to these hard to reach communities. One in five over 75s has sight or hearing loss and this demographic is only going to rise in the coming years. Learn how to keep your communications accessible and help fight Climate Change!
