This short workshop is intended to encourage you to consider undertaking the role of Independent Examiner.
The workshop will introduce you to:
- the role of the Independent Examiner;
- outline the task;
- and take you through the requirements established by the OSCR.
- Description
Small and medium sized charities need easy access to local independent examiners: you don’t need to be an accountant, you just need to be experienced in governance and/or finance. If you are a finance manager, a trustee, a concerned volunteer, or an administrator you are in an ideal position to undertake independent examination.
