Broadloan Gardens is a vibrant community-led organisation based in Renfrew, dedicated to creating accessible green spaces where people of all backgrounds can grow food, connect with nature, and learn sustainable practices. We manage a community garden complete with raised beds, polytunnels, compost systems, and tool libraries—supporting organic growing, biodiversity, and low‑impact living. Through partnerships, volunteers, and outreach, we offer workshops in seed saving, organic horticulture, seasonal cooking, as well as seasonal events that foster wellbeing, creativity, and social inclusion. Our core mission is to strengthen community cohesion by providing a welcoming, hands-on environment where local people of all ages and abilities can develop skills, share resources, and build meaningful relationships—while contributing positively to the environment.
