The North Merchiston Club (NMC) is an Edinburgh community charity serving since 1921. We provide an inclusive hub where people of all ages improve physical health, mental wellbeing and social connections through sport, recreation and community activity.
Guided by our vision, “A Place for Everyone,” we deliver grassroots football, table tennis, children’s soft play, exercise and wellbeing sessions, activities for older people, programmes for people living with Parkinson’s, and community-led groups such as the Worthy Women’s Group. Many activities are co-designed with local people and partners to meet community needs.
Our community café, with Positive Pathways, offers young adults with learning disabilities opportunities to build life skills and confidence.
We welcome diverse backgrounds and reduce barriers so everyone can belong, connect and thrive.
