BAVS's main aim is to promote the general good of the community of Berwickshire and support the voluntary sector by initiating assessment of community needs, developing new organisations and projects, supplying information, advice and administrative backup to organisations and members. BAVS also services the Berwickshire Federation of Village Halls and supports the Berwickshire Volunteer Bureau.
