The Village Hall Committee function came into being in 1987 when the Birgham hall was taken over from the local Council on a long term lease. The committee’s ongoing objective is to enhance the feeling of community within the village and it successfully promotes, organizes and supports many events, including both social and fund raising activities. It also engages in work to improve the village environment and the village hall facility. These activities are an important part of the life of our community, ensuring that the village remains a pleasant and friendly place to live.
