The Club exists to own and operate the Kames Recreation Hall for the benefit of all residents of the Parish of Kilfinan. The hall is used by various community clubs and groups and has become one of the focal points of village life. Its trustees act on an entirely voluntary basis to administer the affairs of the hall and its day to day operations. There is one part time employee who is the cleaner/caretaker.
