The Pipe Factory is an independent not for profit arts organisation based in the heart of Glasgow Barrowland's and Calton, in a category B listed building formerly known as William Whyte's Clay Pipe Factory. We provide space for artists through a range of open plan and private studio spaces, run a public exhibition, learning and residency programme and provide a project space for hire to individuals and organisations.
Our core objectives are:
A) To advance the arts and culture by providing opportunities for the general public and artists at all stages of their lives and careers to pursue their individual learning, development and enjoyment of the arts within a supportive community environment.
B) To provide space to artists to develop and practice the arts.
C) To promote education in the arts through our programming for artists and the general public in Glasgow.
