The organisation's purposes are:A) to advance education and culture (teaching of traditional woodcraft), through the promotion of fine woodworking among people within the veteran and veteran family community, in particular developing a personal development plan, by teaching individuals to play musical instruments, read music and through the maintenance, repair and construction of stringed instruments. There will be premises and areas specifically for these purposes, a workshop area, music room and office to promote personal advancement with further education and employment.B) To advance education through the provision of teaching (traditional woodworking, luthiery & french polishing), training and coaching skills and providing training and workshops.C) to advance citizenship or community development by encouraging and supporting volunteering opportunities to enable capacity building, community involvement and regeneration of the area.These services are particularly aimed at ex-service personnel, people within criminal justice, DWP and their families to help them achieve integration back into civilian life and improve their work potential.
