The club is a non profit distributing charity whose principal objective is the advancement of public participation in sport by the provision of facilities and coaching for participating in cricket in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Strathmore and Perthshire Cricket Union and Cricket Scotland, the sports governing body and its subsidiaries. The organisation's charitable purposes are:A) To promote and foster the public participation of the game of cricket within the local community.B) To adopt a co-ordinated approach in training to all without exception the skills and laws of the game of cricket.C) To promote the sport of cricket at local, district and national level.D) The advancement of health through cricket and associated activities.E) The advancement of education through cricket and related sports activities.F) The provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational facilities, with the object of improving the life for persons whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.G) To foster a “development hub” centred around Guthrie Park which will benefit all inhabitants of the area and such other persons who are studying, working or visiting in that area.H) To secure the establishment, maintenance, and management of a “community hub” for activities supported by the club and/or its partners.I) To promote communication and collaborative projects between local groups and organisations.J) To support established groups in their activities.
