We are the main charity in Scotland for honeybees and beekeepers. The Scottish Government is responsible for honeybees & honeybee health matters in Scotland. There are about 46 local beekeeping associations in Scotland, most of which are affiliated to the SBA as Affiliated Beekeeping Associations (ABA). SBA have around 2000 members, mostly in Scotland, most of whom are hobby beekeepers.
