Gifford Community Land Company manages Gifford Community Woodlands on behalf of the local Community. Gifford Community Woodland consists of 55 acres of ancient woodland with flora that suggest continuity since post glacial primeval forest. Largely unmanaged for the last 30 years we've brought this natural heritage site in to community ownership and created an all ability access path around the site. Our vision is to see all members of our community, irrespective of age or ability, able to access the exceptional natural resource on their doorstep. We aim to protect, learn from and share our natural heritage.
