Through adventure, our organisation aims to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential so that they are responsible citizens in their community. We achieve this by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training led by volunteer leaders. The benefits that this has on our young people is fantastic, with improvements in general health, mental health, physical health and overall wellbeing. We are based in the small village of Bridge of Weir in Renfrewshire and our group celebrated our centenary this year. We have 109 young people ranging between 6-18 years registered with us at present and are a vital part of our community.
