The organisation’s purposes are:
• to promote the benefit of the community of Carmunnock and environs without distinction of political, religious, or other opinions, in association with other partners (the Local Authorities, Voluntary Organisations etc).
• to advance education, health and well-being, the arts, heritage and culture.
• to provide facilities to develop for recreation, leisure and social welfare to improve life for the whole community.
• to safeguard the interests of the Carmunnock area and promote such activities as may be beneficial to local residents.
• to support the community life of the area in such a way as not to discriminate against members of the community on the grounds of age, race, sexuality, gender, religious or cultural beliefs or disability.
• to ensure the maintenance and management of the Castlemilk Hall as a community hub.
