Drum EK

Drum EK is a drumming group for adults with mental health needs. It is based in East Kilbride with the purpose of helping to reduce social isolation. The group is self-governing and meets weekly for 2 hours of music, percussion & singing.
Music improves self-confidence and changes lives to the extent that people start to self-manage their week. We promote peer support amongst our members, helping each other along.
As confidence & well-being improve, members find other activities to manage their week and therefore improve their lives. Activities such as other community groups, volunteering, education & employment.
