We are a second hand registered book charity which promotes literacy, education and understanding to provide a means of sustainable escaple from the plight of poverty in developing countries. Since 1982, we have distributed over 4 million books to 3,850 organisations to 100 countries from our base in Rhynie. This valuable resource has been prevented from going into landfill and given a second life overseas. The books are sent free of charge using the most economic routes possible. We rely on Trust funds, private donations and local fundraising events. We do not receive any government funding.
