Relationships Scotland Tayside and Fife

  • Membership number 9963

For nearly 40 years, Relationships Scotland Tayside and Fife has provided early intervention support to people in circumstances where high family conflict or relationship breakdown threaten their well-being, resilience and prospects, and specifically those of any children involved. Demand for our work stems from a close link between relationship problems, attachment trauma and high conflict, and poor outcomes across all aspects of our lives. We view positive relationships as key conditions of good mental wellbeing and resilience, which can in turn mitigate many wider issues, for us and for our children. We offer three core supports, which focus on improving beneficiaries’ relationships, and their resilience and wellbeing: family mediation, relationship counselling and other therapeutic support, and child contact centres. The Service is based in Dundee, with a secondary office in Glenrothes, and covers the whole of Tayside and Fife. We are a member of Relationships Scotland, a nationwide network of 21 member Services committed to shared goals, values and quality assurance framework.
