- Overall aim
Bringing together people from across Scotland’s vibrant voluntary sector with funding providers to explore what fair funding means for all of us.
Discussing how can we work together and learn from each other to provide flexible and accessible funding that works for the sector and for independent and statutory funders.
Looking at the challenges we face in delivering impactful funding to support organisations working with communities across the country and sharing cross-sector solutions.
We’ll aim for particpants to leave with an idea of what we need to do as a community to improve the funding environment in Scotland, and what part each one of us can play.
- Description
What do we mean when we talk about fair funding?
Help us to get under the skin of this often-used phrase, and understand what improved funding would really look like. From flexible, multi-year funding to accessibility, policy priorities and financial planning, we all have a part to play.
Join SCVO, its partners in the Strengthening Collaboration project (TSI Scotland Network, COSLA and Scottish Government) and a range of independent funders to look at the challenges for the voluntary sector and for those providing funding.
This session will provide a solutions-focussed conversation that allows different perspectives to be heard and understood, and generates ideas for future development.
This event is aimed at voluntary sector leaders, trustees, fundraisers, and independent and statutory funders.
