- Overall aim
The event will provide useful hints and tips on how to best manage those risks that arise from regular daily tasks carried out. Detail will include resources from where an effective risk register can be designed and integrated into your organisation and the various activities.
- Description
Risk Management and Control is an everyday activity for many of us, often without realising it as some aspects are simply good common sense. Other considerations are under the tight regulations imposing unchallengeable responsibilities on organisations whether that is a broad Duty of Care to staff, volunteers and members of the public, or perhaps compliance with a number of Health & Safety needs including adequate and appropriate training, record keeping, and not forgetting GDPR Regulations dating from May 2018. The topic of Risk Management should remain high on the agenda of Board meetings including modern threats arising from digital risks.
