- Description
AccountsIQ’s latest CFO Mindset Report 2.0, surveying 1,000 finance professionals, paints a sobering picture - especially in the not-for-profit sector - of ERP implementation fatigue.
Many charities report that implementing enterprise resource software (ERPs) was one of the most stressful projects their teams have undertaken. 97% of respondents from the charity sector say they regret some aspect of their ERP implementation, while spiralling costs and the strain on staff mean few are planning to change systems soon.
The research also shows that hidden costs in all finance systems were more common than expected, and that most finance teams now work regular overtime to manage compliance and reporting demands. The top priorities for those considering change are clear: compliance and audit trail functionality, real-time dashboards and better reporting.
In this session, we’ll explore what these findings mean for the sector - and share a practical example of a charity that successfully navigated these same challenges. By adopting AccountsIQ, they were able to simplify processes, improve audit transparency and gain real-time visibility across their operations - freeing staff to focus on their mission rather than administration.
Attendees will take away actionable insights on:
- What's behind ERP implementation regret in the not-for-profit space
- How to avoid hidden costs and implementation stress
- The key features that make a measurable difference to compliance and efficiency
- Real-world lessons from organisations who have modernised successfully
This session will resonate with finance and operations leaders seeking practical guidance on building financial systems that empower - rather than exhaust - their teams.
