Description

This interactive session is designed to help organisations and communities navigate the challenges and opportunities of climate change with confidence and clarity. Through a mix of practical tools, peer learning, and collaborative activities, participants will explore the connections between their mission and climate impacts, uncovering how resilience strategies can deliver multiple benefits.

The session begins by framing climate resilience as a core organisational priority, linking it to financial sustainability, risk management, and community wellbeing. You’ll engage in reflective exercises to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities within your own context, followed by group discussions to share insights and learn from others’ experiences.

Building on this foundation, we will introduce the latest Growing Climate Confidence resources. These provide ideas and actions to help you explore how you can reduce emissions and tackling rising costs, while highlighting the co-benefits of climate action—such as unlocking new funding streams, improving health outcomes, and fostering stronger community relationships. This session will be a supportive space for reflection, skill-building, and collaborative problem-solving. You’ll leave with practical next steps that deliver multiple wins for your improving your organisation and community's climate resilience.
