The objects of MAC shall be to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Rhu & Shandon by associating the local and statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance the interests of social welfare, to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations so that the conditions of life of the aforementioned inhabitants may be improved.
