Team Jak is unique! We create smiles and ease the journey wherever required with fun activities and bespoke support within Jak’s Dens, homes, hospitals, schools and online. Team Jak was established by inspirational teenager Jak Trueman in 2015 before he died aged 15 and provides emotional, social and practical support to children and young people age 0-25 with cancer, their family, friends and those bereaved throughout Scotland. We are the only children's cancer charity that provides bespoke lifelong support from Jak’s Den Livingston and Aberdeen, pop-ups in Fife, Paisley and Glasgow and Edinburgh children’s hospitals, with special consideration for siblings and bereaved families, and wellbeing support including Bag of Worries, counselling and music therapy and fun activities- creating smiles, easing the journey for our inspirational young people.
