At Man On! Inverclyde, we prevent suicides on a daily basis by providing an open-door policy. Peter represents everything that is good about Man On! Inverclyde and voting for him is a vote to say that even through the darkest of times, can come great success. Peter deserves all the praise he gets, his ability to connect with people who are in deep despair is excellent and the skill he has to put smiles on faces represents the spark of light that the 3rd sector can give people. Peter is one of our valued Wellbeing Workers at Man On! Inverclyde and has used his knowledge, lived-experience and passion to prevent a number of suicides in our community and beyond. Peter, the Man On! Employee of the Year for 2022, has experienced a high level pain, trauma and adversity in his life, but uses that journey to inspire others. He has been a life-line for the young people of Inverclyde and has helped deliver our innovative school wellbeing plan. It is safe to say that there are young people and adults in our community today thanks to Peter.
