John Strange is our inspirational Chair. Having attended counselling with his own issues, he wanted to give back to the charity & so became a volunteer. His unrelenting drive and passion to support individuals and families, as well as his tenacity for ongoing development of the project, is not a tick box exercise, he actively gets stuck in, championing the project and staff team. As a busy businessowner, he commits to the project wholeheartedly, bringing a business approach and focus to a small community charity. GEAAP is in a far better place today since John became involved with the project.

John Strange is a 44-year-old successful businessman from Glasgow. He is a dedicated family man and loves nothing more than spending time with his wife and twin daughters. John is not only the Chairman of GEAAP, but also sits on the board of two other local charities. Through his business he also likes to support the community through sponsoring the other loves of his life, St Mirren FC & Glasgow Clan Ice hockey club. John is always about living life to the full whilst helping others. John truly is an inspiration to all who know and meet him.
