Diabetes Tech Can’t Wait - Diabetes Scotland

Diabetes Scotland, part of Diabetes UK, offers a range of support, resources and advice for people living with diabetes. We campaign for better services for all types of diabetes, fight for the prevention of type 2, and strive towards tackling inequalities and stigma in diabetes. We also fund research to find better treatments and ultimately, a cure for diabetes.

For more information, visit www.diabetes.org.uk.

Diabetes Scotland launched Diabetes Tech Can’t Wait as too many people in Scotland are unable to access diabetes technology that people tell us is life changing.

With a group of people passionate about access to tech, we united campaigners across Scotland to call for fair and equal access to diabetes tech.

Our report gathers insights from people who have accessed or tried to access diabetes tech. It reflects on good practice in the NHS and innovative approaches to prescribing tech. Our recommendations for the Scottish Government and NHS Scotland will, we think, transform what it means to live with diabetes.
