St Vincent's Hospice
St Vincent's Hospice is dedicated to offering care for individuals diagnosed with life-limiting illnesses, extending support not only during their final days but also throughout their entire journey. Additionally, we provide assistance to the families and loved ones of our patients, offering bereavement support and other services following their loss.
Under new leadership, the organisation has expanded services, including a successful Day Services relaunch and a digital platform for remote participation. With growing demand, they've added new roles and services like a Carers Group and Talking Therapies. Record-high occupancy in the In Patient Unit reflects their impact on patients’ lives. Fundraising efforts doubled, reaching £1.4m in 2023. Patient feedback underscores the positive impact, with improvements to facilities and staff morale. Continuous improvement and community engagement drive their mission forward.
