The Why Not? Trust exists to promote, offer, and support meaningful relationships for people who have experience of care. Originally developed to focus on the relationships between young people moving on from care, and those who cared for them, we’ve now extended our focus to later periods in life when everyone needs support, especially when becoming a parent or a student.

We offer unique support to care experienced parents. All new and expecting parents require support. But what if support isn't readily available within your social circle? That's where The Village comes in - an online platform developed by and for care experienced parents. Through digital platforms, video calls, chats, and texts, we provide a confidential listening ear that fits into a parent's life, reducing the stigma, discrimination, and anxiety often associated with seeking help from traditional services or groups.
