Michael Craig - Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans

At Sight Scotland we’re tackling vision loss together. Our mission is to reach everyone in Scotland with sight loss – where and when they need us. We offer support and advice, campaign for equal rights and fund research. We provide learning, care, accessible formats and support people in their communities. Sight Scotland Veterans provides free support to ex-servicemen and women affected by sight loss, regardless of the cause.

Michael Craig has been a Trustee for over ten years at Sight Scotland and Sight Scotland Veterans, most recently spending over four years as the Chair of both charities. Over the past year, Michael has had a big impact, stepping in as an Interim Chief Executive during a time of ill health for the existing CEO. A passionate advocate for the organisation, Michael has led the development of new services, supported staff, service users and volunteers through fundraising, and championed the charities by raising their profile within the sector. Michael’s long-standing dedication and commitment to the organisation is exceptional.
