Michelle Robertson - Fallin Community Voice

Fallin Community Voice is a membership based community development charity, with a mission to improve our ex-mining village of Fallin and the quality of life for people living here. Our vision for Fallin is one of a sustainable village with a wide range of local shops and services, where everyone has a happy, healthy, dignified life. Our goals are to help improve the health and wellbeing of people in Fallin, reduce poverty and social isolation, and improve community resilience to climate change and other issues beyond our village that still affect us.

Michelle deserves this awards because she is an inspirational woman who rallies the village to help deliver our projects, by volunteering and grassroots donations, all while holding down a full time job and significant caring responsibilities. She is selfless, resilient, optimistic, and delivers real world benefits to a low income community, persevering even when others say it's not possible or too hard. She makes all of us want to be better people and our village is most certainly a better place with her in it, from community meals & fun days to bingo nights & community garden. Thanks!
