David Corstorphine - RNLI

The RNLI is the charity that saves lives at sea. We do this through lifeboat search and rescue, lifeguards, water safety education and flood rescue.

David Corstorphine is a Volunteer Water Safety Officer in Anstruther who has dedicated a huge amount of his time and efforts into making his local area a safer place by spreading crucial water safety messaging.

During 2023 David was involved in a huge amount of activity in his local area. In total he was involved in delivering 42 water safety ‘interventions’ – reaching a huge 16 thousand people with our important water safety messaging.

Not only was this volume of engagement a huge success but many of these sessions were targeted at local children, of school age.
