Sarah Peacock - Mark Williams Foundation

The Mark Williams Foundation honours Mark Williams, who tragically passed away in 2023, and keeps his legacy alive by addressing two critical needs: to protect children’s access to loving relationships with good fathers and to empower the next generation of entrepreneurs to build stronger futures for themselves, their families, and the UK economy. The Foundation achieves its mission via two flagship programmes. The Father Support Initiative which supports fathers through the navigation of separation challenges and parent alienation and The Entrepreneurship Apprenticeship for young entrepreneurs that offers mentorship, network and business exposure.

After founder Nicola Williams' husband Mark passed away, Sarah became the driving force behind turning grief into The Mark Williams Foundation. In under a year, and as the only employee, she has raised over £170,000, built robust governance, forged high-impact partnerships, and delivered programmes supporting fathers fighting for access to their children and nurturing youth entrepreneurship. Trustees, partners, beneficiaries, and volunteers all praise her resilience, compassion, strategic leadership, and relentless work ethic. Sarah has already changed lives across Scotland, embodying the Foundation’s values and helping to ensure Mark’s legacy not only lives on, but actively transforms futures.
