Jenny Black - Fife Pride

Fife Pride is a volunteer-led charity that celebrates and supports the LGBTQIA+ community across Fife through its annual Pride event and year-round initiatives. It works to promote inclusion, visibility, and accessibility while creating safe, welcoming spaces for all.

Jenny has been a dedicated member of Fife Pride since 2019, demonstrating unwavering commitment as both a volunteer and ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. Now serving as Accessibility Coordinator, she uses her lived experience of a hidden disability to advocate for inclusive, meaningful change. Jenny has played a key role in advancing the Pride Without Barriers initiative, securing accessible facilities such as an Accessoloo toilet and sensory resources for neurodivergent attendees. Her compassion, resilience, and determination ensure accessibility remains central to the organisation, helping create a welcoming environment where more people can safely and confidently take part in Pride.
