- Overall aim
To introduce a new approach to wellbeing based on cutting edge neuro-science, which will equip staff, volunteers and service users with the tools to manage their own mental health.
- Description
Wellbeing is a huge topic of conversation at the moment. What if there were simple skills that you could teach to your staff and volunteers which would improve their resilience and have a positive impact on their wellbeing? This workshop will introduce the Community Resiliency Model - learning and practical tools, based on cutting edge neuroscience, which will do just that. Based on recognised brain science, understanding the impact of trauma (which the pandemic was for all of us) and using a mixture of theory, practical skills and experiential learning, this provides a dignified, self management strategy. Join us and help to create a network of resilient communities across Scotland.
This is a taster session and will give you a flavour of the Community Resiliency Model including allowing you to experience some of the skills for yourself.
