- Overall aim
This event will explore ways to use evaluation results and learning to celebrate, plan and improve, and to influence others.
- Description
Evaluation is not just for funders. But what else is it for? At this workshop we will explore ways to use evaluation results and learning to celebrate, plan and improve, and to influence others. Because third sector evaluation and evidence doesn’t have to be second best. The third sector is changing the world and our evaluation can too!
The workshop will consist of a short input from Evaluation Support Scotland giving simple examples of how to use evaluation for yourself and to influence others; and how to judge if your evaluation and evidence is “good enough” for you to use it confidently.
There will be directed roundtable discussions for you to share experiences and tips with your peers about how third sector evaluation and evidence can be used to achieve positive change. You should leave with a couple of simple ideas to take forward.
Please note that this is not technical training on how to do evaluation.
