Description

Support from skilled volunteers has been transformational for many organisations. From knowing you have a safe set of hands to navigate an HR or legal challenge, to getting a steer for a communications strategy, or to accessing support for governance or a wider strategic review. Professional volunteers provide a vital service for Scotland’s third sector organisations.Critically, it enables senior management and boards increase their focus on core business functions, sustainability, scale and innovation.

In this session, panellists from Pilotlight, Inspiring Scotland, Sodexo and RUTS join together to discuss the challenges facing many organisations and how taking a relationship-based approach to matching the right professional volunteer with the right organisation helps to build capacity and strengthen the sector.“PEEK would not be the same charity without the unwavering support from Pilotlight and Inspiring Scotland’s Specialist Volunteer Network’” Michaela Collins (CEO PEEK)
