- Overall aim
Iain Macfarlane, CEO of Blue Triangle, will offer an insight into an approach that allows localities across Scotland to come to together and offer support in a way that is inclusive, human and compassionate.
- Description
The Cathedrals of the People model offers localities the ability to reassess how it delivers social care whilst making their communities more connected, healthy and vibrant. The approach creates a platform for potential Recovery Development, Residential Rehabilitation, Stigma and Discrimination Reduction, Harm Reduction and non-custodial Criminal Justice solutions, as well as prevention and education and diversion from health harms. All of this delivered in local communities by harnessing the Scottish Passion for “ The Beautiful Game”, football.
By creating effective and local Public Social Private Partnerships (PSPPs), Iain believes we can make Scotland a true global leader in how our society responds to its most vulnerable and potentially most contributing citizens.
