What was covered in your sessions?
This event was hosted by Helen Swatton, who leads on SCVO’s training programme, and was joined by panellists John Bonnar, Pam Judson, Lynn Houmdi and Anne Whiteford. We highlighted our sector specific training programme and discussed the importance of continuous professional development (CPD) for an individual’s career development and progression, the continued and sustainable growth of an organisation, and the voluntary sector as a whole. Our panel of expert consultants and trainers gave a summary of their experience within the voluntary sector and an overview of the courses they deliver as part of our training programme.
Was there any useful feedback or reflection from the participants?
Delegates were interested to hear about upcoming trends in learning, if funding was available for our courses and training in general, and if we are to continue delivering our training programme online.
