What was covered in your sessions?
Our session introduced children's rights-based funding approaches, supported by the Cattanach Trust, CORRA Foundation and BBC Children in Need. Together and Children's Parliament shared examples of what children's rights look and feel like in practice.
Was there any useful feedback or reflection from the participants?
Attendees reflected on the importance of relationships with the children and young people they work with, sharing words such as "empowering", "uplifting" and "upstream thinking". Attendees also queried how we can best take an asset-based approach overall. There were reflections that some sectors will find focussing on a children's rights-based approach easier than others, how can we use those sectors as an asset and take this into a systems-based approach that could support others who find it more of a challenge?
How people can find out more or get involved in your work?
