- Description
We are the Associates of the 2027 Scotland Programme. We identify as working class and have taken on paid roles over the past year at leading Scottish funders.
Our goal is to diversify the sector by being a part of it and by addressing barriers to funding that communities within Scotland experience.
The funding sector has looked at pilots around participatory grantmaking and how to engage better with communities. We seek to ask both funders and community organisations how can communities be more involved?
Our event will be an engaging round table for charities and funders/social investors aimed at encouraging action to diversify the funding and social investment sector and give communities more power in grantmaking.
