- Description
The event aims to raise awareness and inform people about Restorative Justice and its facilitation in cases of sexual harm. Exploring the factors that affect both survivors and people that have caused harm. The speakers will cover a range of areas highlighting academia that underpins practice; the impact on survivor recovery and the core principles of Restorative Justice. Speakers will share both professional and lived experiences of the Restorative Justice process and sexual harm, highlighting aspects that should be considered prior, during and post intervention.
The event will conclude with a question and answer session giving participants the opportunity to engage in discussion with the speakers.
