What was covered in your sessions?
Laura Anderson and Martin Tyson of the Scottish Charity Regulator explained how risk based regulation worked in practice using examples of our recent casework. Laura looked at a high profile case where we had taken substantial action and Martin considered three low risk cases, and explained the types of actions we take to facilitate compliance and support charity trustees.
Was there any useful feedback or reflection from the participants?
Participants felt the session had helped them to gain a better understanding of our regulatory casework, in particular some of the reasons why high risk cases can take some time.
