- Sandra Lavergne, Development Officer for Communities at Cycling Scotland will provide some information on the support available from the Cycling Friendly programme.
She will be joined by a representative from Urban Fox, a Glasgow-based community group. They will speak about the community work they’ve been leading on to promote cycling and share their experience with the Cycling Friendly Community programme.

What was covered in your sessions?
The session provided information on Cycling Scotland’s Cycling Friendly programme, aiming at supporting organisations across Scotland to take a leading role in increasing number of people who cycle. The session focused on the support available for community groups and on funding opportunities. Two Glasgow-based community groups joined the conversation and provided some feedback on their own experiences leading on cycling projects as part of the programme.
Was there any useful feedback or reflection from the participants?
The session triggered some inspiring conversations around inclusivity and diversity in the cycling industry. The presentation also led to further discussions involving partnership work with national and local organisations.
