Jack Monroe talked about her journey from single mum living on benefits to food writer, journalist and poverty campaigner. She gave an overview of the Vimes Boots Index being developed to highlight how inflation disproportionally affects those on the lowest incomes, as well as discussing the challenges of campaigning on behalf of Britain’s poorest through the current cost of living crisis.
