- Overall aim
This event aims to keep you up to date with the changes that the Employment Rights Bill will bring. You'll leave the event with a clearer idea of what the changes mean for your organisation and a checklist of actions that you can take now to prepare for the changes.
- Description
A practical and interactive session looking at the proposed changes to employment law and what employers need to do. We'll be joined by SCVO's pro bono service employment lawyers and there will be an opportunity at the end of the session to pick their brains!
The UK Government plans to make significant changes to employment law over the next few years. A key part of this is the Employment Rights Bill. The bill includes new rights that will be introduced gradually over the next few years. Join this session for round up of all the changes included in the Employment Rights Bill.
We’ll provide the answers to questions like: can we still offer sessional contracts, is it ok to have a probationary period, and what will the changes mean for voluntary sector employers.
