Overall aim

In this interactive session you will have the opportunity to share your own situation and discuss challenges you face keeping energy costs manageable. You’ll hear from expert speakers and other organisations about steps they have taken to bring costs down and make progress on their journey to net zero. You will also have the chance to shape an innovative new collective purchasing scheme, which will allow SCVO members to pool their buying power and bring big savings on green energy.

Description

Utility Aid is the UK’s leading energy broker for the charity and not-for-profit sector and has saved SCVO members over £490,000 on bills since we started working together. In this session they are keen to hear from organisations across the Scottish voluntary sector that could benefit from a collective purchasing scheme. Join us and help us better understand what support you need to become greener and reduce utility running costs. You will leave with new connections, a good knowledge of the support available from Utility Aid, and insight into how a collective purchasing scheme for the voluntary sector could work to benefit both people and planet.
