- Description
The National Lottery Community Fund has opened new programmes that will award at least £166 million of National Lottery funds to communities in Scotland over the next five years.
Come and find out more about Community Action and Fairer Life Chances and the routes for funding for organisations of different sizes. This funding will focus on the communities that have the greatest need to enable them to tackle poverty, disadvantage and discrimination.
Through these open programmes, we will make bigger and longer grants. We’ll fund organisations of different sizes and levels of experience. We’ll support many smaller organisations to apply for multi-year funding for the first time allowing them to develop over a more sustained period.
Through this funding, we’ll support activity that aligns with the four missions in our UK wide strategy, ‘It starts with community’. We’ll bring communities together by providing common places and spaces; we’ll increase their environmental sustainability; we’ll support children and young people to thrive, and we’ll work hard to help communities tackle health inequalities.
The session will cover all the funding available from The National Lottery Community Fund including National Lottery Awards for All, Young Start and the Scottish Land Fund. We will also provide examples of what makes a good application and we will open the floor to questions.
